Salut mes p’tits croissants!
Today, we are making a simple shallot, dill and lemon cream that is best enjoyed with smoked fish, baked salmon or any seafood really.
Once again this recipe is super simple and require less than 5 minutes to make.
Makes 1 cup (250ml)
Lemon, Dill and shallot cream
1 cup Heavy cream (I used 35%)
2 pcs Lemon (juiced, you can add the zest too)
5 sprigs Dill (chopped)
1 pc Large shallot (peeled and diced)
Salt and pepper to taste
-In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients together and mix well.
-Season well with salt and pepper.
-The lemon should curdle the cream and thicken it.
-You can also whip it with a whisk, it will give it a more aerated and lighter feel.
